There is a very small circle of songwriters who should not be allowed to sing their own brilliant songs. Bob Dylan needs to find his Elton John.

Is this how my parents’ generation felt when A Momentary Lapse of Reason came out?

Probably not. There were only four years between Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Final Cut.

Hum’s previous album was 1998’s Downward is Heavenward.

Jeez, even Crowded House had a mere 14 years between Together Alone and Time on Earth.

But but but… Downward is Heavenward didn’t come out that long ago…Report
